How is it billed when a Medicare patient is seen by a Nutritionist?

SuperCoder Answered Fri 09th of August, 2013 02:01:48 AM

Medicare allows a nutritionist to bill medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for patients with renal disease or diabetes in limited circumstances. Codes are 97082-97084 and G0270-G0271.
