Non-Invasive Extremity Arterial Studies

Kimberly Posted Wed 29th of July, 2015 16:04:09 PM

We have been doing these studies for a while and have been using 93923 as procedure code. We were informed we should be billing 0337T for this study. Could you please let me know which is correct code. We were told 93923 was easier to get paid (this is from the sales person) but we should be using 0337T.

Thank You

Both codes are different. CPT code 0337T should be used when Endothelial function assessment is done and for bilateral noninvasive physiologic studies of upper or lower extremity arteries, use CPT 93922/93923.
