What should i bill for an excision and closure of a non-healing hemorrhoidectomy wound, which is a 1-cm ulcerated lesion?

Hi Sherry,

Thanks for your question.
Please report CPT code 11421 (Excision, benign lesion including margins, except skin tag (unless listed elsewhere), scalp, neck, hands, feet, genitalia; excised diameter 0.6 to 1.0 cm) for excision of the lesionSimple closure is always included in excision code. So, no need to bill simple closure separately.
Please feel free to write if you have any question.
