What is the best CPT code to use for a NON DOT PHYSICAL.

Thanks for your question. I need a little more information to provide you with an answer. Is this a work physical but just not DOT related? Or is this some other type of physical?

YES. IT IS RELATED TO EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL BUT NOT RELATED TO DOT.

Insurance companies do not normally pay for this service. Typically practices require the patient to pay at the time of service for work or pre-employment physicals. Some practices will use an internal code for billing purposes or you can use 99429 which is the code for unlisted preventative medicine service. Hope this helps!
