New Patient with MD and Second Opinion Review of Films with a Radiologist

Tanya Posted Thu 06th of October, 2016 11:28:45 AM
We have a new patient scheduled for an abnormal mammogram and a palpable breast lump with our Breast Surgeon. We have a radiologist who is going to review the patients films and provide her notes. Can we code two codes on the same visit. 99244 with the breast surgeon and 76140 with the radiologist. Thank You

Yes, both the codes can be billed on the same day. Thank you.
