How to code a bilateral L5-S1 laminectomy for debridgement of discitis, decompressive foraminotomies at L5-S1 with placement of Jackson-Pratt drain. Do we use 63030 (50) or 63047 and 11044?

I think 63030 is the appropriate code for the given scenario.
CPT code 63047 is for complete laminectomy with facetectomy and foraminotomy. Here the case doesn't reflect the complete laminectomy (laminectomy is performed for debridement for discitis) and facetectomy, hence we can't consider 63047.

For 63030, you can use modifier 50 if performed bilaterally.
