Since code 64450 has a global period of 10 days can you bill for another 64450 in the office on day two if the patient is in extreme pain or on an urgent basis using modifier 58 if not what modifier can be used? Also would you bill a U/S guidance 76942 and a 99213?

CPT code 64450 has 0 global days period. Hence, bill this code without appending modifier for global period indication. If US guidance had ben performed for some procedure then only it can be billed for that date of service. Otherwise bill appropriate E&M code e.g 99213 along with the 64450.

Hope this helps!
