Need help with CPT code

Margaret Posted Tue 29th of March, 2011 18:05:37 PM

My doc performed a LAP chole with IOC as well as enucleation of pancreatic head mass with intraoperative ultrasound. I have the code for the lap chole 47563, but I am unsure as to the CPT code for the enucleation. I found these two codes, but not sure if they are correct. 76940 or 76998

OP note states that blunt dissection was used to shell out the lesion. Would I use 48120 with the ultrasound code?

Thanks for your help!
