Need help choosing diagnosis code from Patholgy Report

Ashley Posted Thu 02nd of February, 2012 15:27:08 PM

Please let me know which ICD-9 code to assign to this:
According to the Pathology Report, the pathology on the chest wall lesion specimen is described as "Infiltrating poorly differentiated carcinoma consistent with infiltrating mammary carcinoma"
Thank you in advance for your help.

"infiltrating mammary carcinoma" means that the chest wall cancer is secondary. The breast cancer has protruded into the chest wall. Thus, your chest wall cancer code is '198.89'.
