Please find below the link that will help you in calculating NDC units and quantity for vaccines. This link also contain examples to help understand calculations.

Also see the example below;

Its 24mL total between the 3 vials administered. You add up the mL as specified by each NDC

NDC# 00003-3774-12 100mg/10ML. This is a 10mL vial so 2 vials would be 20mL.
There is a total of 100mg in a vial

NDC# 00003-3772-11 40mg/4ml. This is a 4mL vial so 1 vial would be 4mL. 
There is a total of 40 mg in a vial 
You don't need to calculate anything unless a partial vial is used.
