Multiple Radilogy codes

Stephnaie Posted Tue 31st of December, 2013 10:43:03 AM

These codes were preformed on the same date of service and read by the same physician. What modifiers would you use and where would you put them?

SuperCoder Answered Wed 01st of January, 2014 00:59:43 AM

Code 70544 is a column 2 code for 70553 , but a modifier is allowed in order to differentiate between the services provided.
*Use modifier 59 with code 70544

Rest all CPT's as it they are.

This is not a repeat procedure , so no Modifier 76
