Medicare Home Care

Annette Posted Sat 06th of September, 2014 12:37:43 PM

Do I bill the same codes for OT (97110, 97112, 97140, 97530, g0283) for home care and just change the POS from 11 to 12?

There are appropriate G codes that you should bill for home health care occupational therapy. Also, use POS-12, Home.

G0152 – Services performed by a qualified occupational therapist in the home
health or hospice setting, each 15 minutes;

G0158 – Services performed by a qualified occupational therapist assistant in
the home health or hospice setting, each 15 minutes.

G0160 Services performed by a qualified occupational therapist, in the home health setting, in the establishment or delivery of a safe and effective occupational therapy maintenance program, each 15
minutes.

Thanks !!
