After reviewing earlier posts, one of the replys seemed to be quoting "guidelines" saying any testing ordered for outside of the encounter was considered additional work up. Can you tell me where to find these guidelines? Patient has abnormal lab work and provider wants to repeat labs in 3 months. Would this be considered additional work up?
