Hi,

What is the approach? Does provider is doing cystourethroscopy?

Would require more documentation to assist you with appropriate code.

Thanks

YES, CYSTOURETHROSCOPY WAS PERFORMED IN THE OFFICE, HE MANIPULATED THE STONE BUT DID NOT REMOVE IT. WHAT IS THE CORRECT CPT FOR THAT PROCEDURE.

Hi,

There is no cpt code for manipulation of urethral stone. 52330 code is there for manipulation without removal of stone but it is for ureteral stone. You need to report either 52000 cystoyrethroscopy code only or you can report unlisted code 53899 as there is no specific cpt for urethral stone manipulation.

Hope that helps!
