Lidocaine Injection

Melissa Posted Wed 09th of July, 2014 15:01:48 PM

Our physician performed a joint injection using Lidocaine only because the patient has allergies to steroids. Can I bill a J-Code for the Lidocaine?

Yes, you can code the J code. J3490 - Unclassified drugs is the most appropriate code to be used for lidocaine injection.

Thanks !!
