do we use modifier rt lt for V2744?, any other modifiers needed for 2 units? Thanks

In order to indicate left or right side for HCPCS code V2744 {Tint, photochromatic, per lens}, RT and LT modifiers are allowed. As per its code language - Tint, photochromatic, per lens - it indicates that one unit of V2744 is used for one lens, if using bilateral lenses, two units can be billed with one being billed with RT and the other with LT modifier. Claims billed without modifiers RT-LT will be rejected as incorrect coding.
