Leg Stump

Can I use I70.211 for Claudication of the right leg stump?
SuperCoder Answered Mon 18th of September, 2017 09:52:07 AM

Hi Jami,

The correct ICD-10 code for claudication of the right leg, stump will be T87.89 (Other complications of amputation stump).  Since provider has mentioned claudication so it will not go as unspecified code. Thank you.
