Left Lower Extremity selective runoff

Kim Posted Sat 22nd of November, 2014 16:36:58 PM

What codes would I bill for a left lower extremity runoff? Arterial access was gained via the L brachial artery, then access to the descending aorta and into the distal aorta, then to L femoral artery and advanced to the L external iliac artery where the runoff was performed.

Greetings for the day!

In my opinion, CPT 36245, 75625, & 75710 can be used.

36245 for left external iliac artery aortography with runoff
75625 for abdominal aortography
75710 for unilateral extremity angiography, radiological supervision and interpretation

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
