My surgeon did LAVH w/BSO. In the process, she had to remove extensive endometriosis from the bladder, ureters, cul-de-sac and broad ligament. My CPT for the hysterectomy is 58552, but can I bill for 58662 for the entometriosis also? There are no CPT edits, but in the AAPC procedural coding expert, it says lysis of adhesions should not be reported together with any other laparoscopic procedures.

CPT for lysis of adhesion is 58660 and this cant be reported with 58552. So to report lysis of adhesions, you can append modifier 22 with with the 58552.
