physician performed diagnostic laparoscopy with removal of hernia mesh which was causing pain Finding: A mass mass was identified in the right lower grandrant, parascopy confirmed meshoma in her right groin region . I was able to safely remove the portion of mesh that was not part of the previous hernia repairs. What is correct cpt code(s)

Thanks for your question. See procedure code 49329; Unlisted laparoscopy procedure, abdomen, peritoneum, and omentum. You will need to submit documentation to the payer for reimbursement.
