Laparoscopic Revision of Gastrojejunostomy and EGD

Oscar Posted Thu 04th of June, 2015 10:01:42 AM

Please answer the following coding question:

Pre & Post-op Dx: Recurrent Marginal Ulcer.
Specimen Removed: Previous Gastrojejunostomy

Procedure performed: Laparoscopic Revision of Gastrojejunostomy and EGD

Patient is a Roux-en-y gastric bypass patient 3 years ago, done well from weight-loss standpoint. But, this marginal ulcer with bleeding is continuously occuring.
Previous Gastrojejunostomy was removed and then a standard hand-sewn gastrojejunostomy performed using 3-0 vicryl in 2 layers.Bowel clamp placed under EGD.

For this same "Open procedure" we have a code 43860. But, I do not find any specific CPT code when done as Laparoscopic Revision.

Please suggest....
