jejunal ileal

What CPT code can I use for takedown of jejunal ileal anastomosis, and formation of jejunojejunostomy, wedge liver biopsy. Pt with history of jejunal ileal bypass?

The code 44625 which says, “closure of enterostomy, large or small intestine; with resection and anastomosis other than colorectal” would be the appropriate code to use. In this procedure, the physician takes down an enterostomy (stoma) of small intestine or colon, with resection and anastomosis other than colorectal.

For wedge liver biopsy you can use 47100.
