Inpatient subsequent resolved diagnosis

I am wondering if it is correct to code resolved DX' s( Sepsis ,Resp failure, ect ) in inpatient setting/Critical Care pertaining to subsequent days/intensivists providers.

It is not appropriate to code resolved condtion diagnosis in inpatient setting/Critical Care pertaining to subsequent days. To describe the resolved condition you should go with history code series i.e. Z code category.
