Injecting Contrast into Intrathecal Port

Liane Posted Mon 26th of September, 2011 19:09:16 PM

Our practice is performing a procedure we've never done before and we are unsure how to code:

We are pulling CSF fluid back from an intrathecal pump/port and then injecting dye into the port for something similar to a Thoracic Myelogram with post myelo CT.

What codes would we use to bill this?

62284: Injection procedure for myelography and/or computed tomography, spinal (other than C1-C2 and posterior fossa)
72255: Myelography, thoracic, radiological supervision and interpretation
72129: Computed tomography, thoracic spine; with contrast material
