Greetings from SuperCoder!

Please report CPT code 49505 (for age 5 or more) for repair of inguinal hernia. Mesh implantation is payable separately when performed with open ventral and incisional hernia repairs, but is included in open repair of umbilical, inguinal, and other hernias.

Thanks.
