IHC technical bill

Julia Posted Thu 12th of March, 2015 17:09:25 PM

On the rare ocassion that an IHC stain is attempted but is uninterpretable due to the insufficency of the tumor within a block, can we still bill the the technical charge? Is there an industry norm in cases like this?
