ICU management

Annie Posted Mon 21st of March, 2016 10:24:19 AM

A pulmonologist is consulted for ICU management and the patient was admitted to ICU for a GI bleed. There is no diagnosis? What do I do?

Thanks for the Query

Pulmonologist consultation is required during ICU management to find out other sign and symptoms or to check the vitals of patient to ensure that at pulmonary point patient is stable or not, hence Primary diagnosis will be GI bleed until a pulmonologist find out a new diagnosis after his consultation.
