Mike Posted Wed 17th of February, 2016 12:57:49 PM

How do you code Chronic migraine WITH auro, intractible and w/o status migrainosus. Cant find and codes with aura. Would I still code it as G43.719?

There are no codes for Chronic migraine with aura. All the codes are for Chronic Migraine without aura.

I do not find it correct to use ICD 10 code G43.719 for Chronic Migraine with aura because this is a code for Chronic Migraine with out aura.

I would prefer using ICD 10 code G43.819 which stands for Other Migraine, intractable, without status migrainosus.
