Bonnie Posted Tue 31st of January, 2012 18:53:55 PM

ICD-9 603.9 Hydrocele ( testes) is being denied by
Blue Cross & Blue Shield stating invalid ICD-9. Can
you please give me the correct ICD-9 to use.

603.9 is the correct code for a testicular hydrocele. What is the denial saying exactly? Perhaps this is an error in the payer's system?
