Polly Posted Thu 14th of June, 2012 13:48:08 PM

On a operative report the surgeon has indicated cataract left eye.
Zonular dehiscence, secondary to trauma, left eye. The trauma happened to this patient as a child. I need help with the icd 9 code

I would prefer using 366.03 Cortical lamellar or zonular nonsenile cataract

Use additional external cause code, if applicable, to identify the cause of the eye condition
