We used to use V72.62 for any routine labs done at the time of a annual well woman exam. Now that converts to Z00.00 which is just general adult exam. Would we use both the annual gyn exam code and the general exam code? Or will ins pay the labeork with just the annual gyn visit code?

We use ICD-9 code V72.62 for Laboratory examination ordered as part of a routine general medical examination, and ICD-10 code for V72.62 is Z00.00 which states Encounter for general adult medical examination without abnormal findings. So billing Z00.00 instead of V72.62 would be enough.
