ICD 10 for bilateral disease in procedures

Chery Posted Tue 20th of October, 2015 10:58:59 AM

Patient is having laser for CSR OS, which he has in both eyes. When posting ICD 10 code I used H35.713 for bilateral. When posting for laser of OS do I change the code to H35.712 for left eye and then H35.711 for right eye?

If the patient is having laser surgery on the left side only, then bill the procedure code with code for CSR, as it persist in both the eyes.
