87804 code describes infectious agent antigen detection by immunoassay with direct optical observation; Influenza. This code is specific to influenza thatswhy the ICD-10 crosswalk is more precise and gives diagnosis related to influenza. ICD-9-CM data is created long back and its old and not updated while ICD-10-CM data is new and created on or before 2015.

Hope that helps!
