ICD 10 code

Annie Posted Mon 30th of October, 2017 16:25:18 PM
what code would you use for adenomatous anorectal nodule.
SuperCoder Answered Tue 31st of October, 2017 02:38:02 AM

An adenoma is a tumor of glandular tissue, that has not (yet) gained the properties of a cancer. So if documentation says adenomatous nodule of rectum the code will be D12.8.

But, there is no specific code for anorectal, the codes are for anus and rectum seperetely.

Hope that helps!
