I have found the explaination that this is called Lavage but no corresponding procedure code. My providers dictation "using ultrasound guidance the calcium deposit was located and with a 18G needle the calcium was punctured several times while 0.5% Marcaine was injected, 5cc total, into calcific density." DX Calcific tendonitis, Right M75.31, Impingement syndrome, Right shoulder M75.41 and Osteoarthritis, shoulder, right, M19.011.

I think physician is doing barbotage but there is no specific code for this. You can try to bill with 29999 unlisted code or 20611(major joint injection).
