HOSPITAL DISCHARGE

Colleen Posted Wed 11th of May, 2011 16:02:59 PM

I have 2 family practice doctors one who saw the patient on the date of the discharge, the other did the work, who can charge.

For Hosptial Dischrage, the Discharge is billed on the date on which Discharge Services ordered and performed and for the doctor who performed it, not based on the date on which the patient is discharged just on the basis that the patient stayed overnight for some other reason and not for a doctoer who came on the other day to just to check before the patient gets discharged.
