i know there is no cpt for vaginal cuff repair but would this warrant a 57200?
patient had a TLH on 7/1/ but has had bleeding and came back for a repair. OP NOTES:
The weighted speculum was placed in the posterior aspect of the vagina and the anterior aspect of the vagina was retracted with a right angle retractor. The right aspect of the vaginal cuff was visualized and bleeding had significantly decreased. Using 0 vicryl in a running, locking fashion, the vaginal cuff was reinforced and excellent hemostasis was achieved.
thanks for your help!!

As there is no specific code for vaginal cuff repair. Yes Cpt 57200 is appropriate to use when physician repair vaginal laceration or wound that is not related to childbirth or pregnancy.
