hemostasis of vaginal cuff

Tammy Posted Mon 25th of July, 2016 09:35:11 AM
Hi, i know there is no cpt for vaginal cuff repair but would this warrant a 57200? patient had a TLH on 7/1/ but has had bleeding and came back for a repair. OP NOTES: The weighted speculum was placed in the posterior aspect of the vagina and the anterior aspect of the vagina was retracted with a right angle retractor. The right aspect of the vaginal cuff was visualized and bleeding had significantly decreased. Using 0 vicryl in a running, locking fashion, the vaginal cuff was reinforced and excellent hemostasis was achieved. thanks for your help!!
