Hemorrhoid injection for pain

Anna-Marie Posted Thu 25th of June, 2015 13:05:59 PM

What is the code for injection of steroid/local anesthetic into large external hemorrhoids as a temporary measure, until they can be removed?

You can use CPT code 46500, but that is for injection of sclerosing solution at the base of the external haemorrhoids.
