MY doctor did a TAH with lysis of adhesion and a left retroperitoneal dissection. I coded this as 58150 with 58740. What do I code for retroperitoneal dissection or is this included?

Hi, Our team is working on it and will get back soon,

As per NCCI edits you cannot bill 58150 with 58740. 58150 is the only billable code as per the documentation. Use modifier 22 (Increased Procedural Services) for lysis of adhesion and a left retroperitoneal dissection, If the lysis of adhesions was extensive, took more time than usual, caused more use of instruments etc..
