Loni Posted Fri 21st of February, 2020 17:52:14 PM

Hello Loni,

Thank you for your question.

Allegra (Fexofenadine) is an antihistamine, which is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and nose, sneezing, itching and hives, etc. It is formulated as a capsule or tablet for oral administration.

Since, there is no specific code available for Allegra drug, you may report HCPCS code J8499 (Prescription drug, oral, non chemotherapeutic, NOS).

Hope that helps!

Thanks
