How would I code the following: DIAGNOSIS: 1.Symptomatic, retained plate, left thumb metacarpal. 2.Retained pin, deep, left thumb metacarpal. 3.Left wrist arthrosis. PROCEDURE: 1.Removal of left thumb metacarpal, retained plate and screws. 2.Tenolysis, left extensor pollicis brevis. 3.Removal of retained K-wire, deep, left thumb metacarpal. 4.Left wrist radiocarpal corticosteroid injection. Hi, As per the document ICD-10 for Symptomatic, retained plate, left thumb metacarpal and retained pin, deep, left thumb metacarpal is T84.210A and for Left wrist arthrosis is M19.032. CPT code for removal of left thumb metacarpal, retained plate and screws plus retained K-wire, deep, left thumb metacarpal is 20680 and CPT for Tenolysis, left extensor pollicis brevis is 26445.
