Glucose Testing

Susan Posted Fri 27th of October, 2017 11:35:06 AM
When you are doing a glucose finger stick in the office using a reagent strip and you are using a monitor that can also be used at home what is the correct code 82948 or 82962 when you have a CLIA wavier.

The appropriate CPT code according to above scenario would be 82962 as this CPT is not only limited to home but can be billed when performed even at physician's office.
