G-tube dysfunction-HELP!

Mary Posted Thu 02nd of January, 2014 11:15:13 AM

Dr. performed a suture of a g-tube site-he secured g-tube to the skin using 4-0 ethilon suture to prevent any tube dislodgement. Tube was anchored nicely. I have no idea what the cpt code for this procedure would be - ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

The procedure as described does not fall into any available surgery code scenarios. The effort, however, would be best as captured within the concurrent Evaluation and Management episode codes.
