WHAT IS THE CORRECT CPT CODE FOR FOREIGN BODY REMOVAL FROM HIP.

SuperCoder Answered Sat 11th of October, 2014 00:17:02 AM

If the provider has opened the hip joint and removed foreign body, you may use code 27033, Arthrotomy, hip, including exploration or removal of loose or foreign body.
