FNA during EUS

Maarit Posted Wed 22nd of February, 2012 22:46:19 PM

PT had upper endoscopic ultrasound done due to esophageal mass and adenopathy. Liver, gallbladder and pancreas are all described by the US, so CPT for this is 43259? FNA was done in 4 areas (different lymph nodes and the mass itself). What is the CPT for FNA and are the Dx 530.9 and 785.6 unless pathology reveals anything more?
I appreciate your help!
