L Posted Sat 07th of November, 2015 08:16:38 AM

How would I code the following:
DIAGNOSIS: Right ring complex wound with proximal nail avulsion.

PROCEDURE:
1. Repair, complex wound, 2 cm, right ring finger and nail replacement.
2. Irrigation and debridement, skin, in the area of 0.8 cm.

Thanks.

CPT 11760 appropriate for the nail avulsion repair with wound repair. Use ICD-10 S61.314A.
