fibrin sheath

Ashley Posted Fri 06th of January, 2017 16:08:25 PM
can we charge 36907 for angioplasty of the central veins for fibrin sheath or stenosis when done with for catheter exchanges or removals? The coding book states “performed through the dialysis circuit.” Code 37248 is for venous angioplasty not through the dialysis circuit. If we need to use that code, then it needs to be added to the charge slips I thinking we should charge 37248 but wanted to ask the experts. :)I can get op notes if you need more info.
