Femoral-Popliteal Bypass with Cadaveric Vein

Teresa Posted Thu 06th of May, 2010 17:13:51 PM

Would you use 35656 Femoral-Popliteal bypass other than vein for cadaveric vein?

If a cadaveric vein (allograft) is used as bypass graft to shunt a blockage on femoral-popliteal artery, you definitely can use this code 35656.

Thank you for the information. I am doing a trial membership on Supercoder. Do you find it very useful with your everyday coding? Thanks again for your help!!

I find it quite useful in daily coding job. Their coding tools (CCI, Fee schedule etc) are quite easy to use and helpful. In the CCI edit, I even can find data of all the contractors instead of only the Carrier! That's a plus point than other coding softwares. And the low subscription rate also catched my eye.

Sorry, I mean to say about the LCD tool, and not the CCI. :P
