Thank you for your question.

You can obtain the fee amounts based on your locality in two suggested ways:

Supercoder.com- enter the code in the search field. Click on the Fee Schedule tab on the right hand side, enter locality, then calculate.

Or

Medicare Fee Schedule Look up Tool

SO MY NEXT QUESTION IS HOW TO CALCULATE. FOR EXAMPLE 99212?

SuperCoder Answered Fri 18th of July, 2014 09:16:00 AM

When using the supercoder.com Fee Schedule tab, choose your locality and click on the calculate button below, the fee will be calculated for you. The amount to charge will depend on your practice. You will want to research the allowable amounts for your major payers and come up with a charge amount that will not result in a high write off amount but a charge amount that will cover the average allowable. Hope this provides further clarity.
