Patricia Posted Wed 16th of May, 2012 19:43:19 PM

Does anyone know if there is a procedure for this? Doctor has notes stating "Removal of Foreign Body from Umbilical Cord"?

Thanks,
Patricia

It could be incidental too. We need complete OP report to visualize the scenario.Thank You

That is just it. There is not operative report, only office notes as I stated in the original post. I can not find a FB removal for Umbilical Cord. Would I not just up the visit level?

Yes, you can go for visit level codes for that corresponding meeting the components. There is no code for FB removal for umbilical cord.
